I use the term to refer only to true Liberals in general and specifically to members of CPC and PDA.<br><br>While I haven't given up on any of our Progressive Caucus for voting for HR 3962, I really question their strategy. The real enemy of Progressives is not Republicans or even Blue Dogs, but the Democratic Party leadership. This truth became abundantly clear in the summer of 2008 when Dennis Kucinich was unceremoniously kicked off the debate stage. We should have all walked out then. Nevertheless, Progressives are the largest caucus in Congress, and I think they should have taken the HR 3962 opportunity to show the Democratic Party what happens to legislation without them. The Party takes us for granted and shows more respect for the most rabid Republicans. The country will be at least as well off without this health care plan as with it, and no harm would have been done if the CPC had presented a solid front for HR 676, the real deal. Don't they owe it to us out here? Isn't "In Solidarity" our motto?
