Get someone with credibility other that Dennis to support you. He has little to no credibility in the house. Absolutely no one listens to him.

Single Payer on a state by state basis is not the answer. It would not be fair for the people of some states to have decent health care and other people in other states not to have decent health care. Therefore, HR 3200 even with the Kucinich amendment should not be endorsed by any organization that is pro-single payer, including PDA.

Eric, you'll have to tell that to Canada. They went province by province. A woman's right to vote did the same in the States. States are the laboratories of democracy. Businesses will flock to states that have single-payer since they can budget for their costs and it will be less expensive to operate there. Keep your eye on the prize and work strategically to get there.

Actually, Canada's healthcare program is a national one. They did not do
province by province , one at a time. The province's rold is to
    *administer*the program.

I am not talking about what it is now. I am talking about how it got that way. It started in the provinces and then became a national program.
  • Dennis is so with the people. I've listened to him for years. Big business does not want to listen to him for many selfish reasons.

Let's hope his will to change the broken system wins out.
