pda_audio_icon1This main goal of this call is an attempt to map out a plan for going forward and reinvigorating activity, participation, and the creation of actions and materials beneficial to the goals of PDA–pushing progressive legislation and our congressional reps to respond to the needs of people over the special interests. All are welcome and encouraged to help move this IOT along. This IOT has a somewhat broad umbrella compared to some of the other IOT's and we will have to remain focused and practical in the goals we identify and act upon.

I. Introductions – 5 Minutes
II. Update on the Panama Free Trade Agreement – 10 minutes
III. Update on Uniting American Families Act (UAFA) – 5-10 minutes
IV. Growing membership and activity and ownership in the ESJ IOT (as needed) – this is old business from last meeting.
A. Growing numbers and participation – practical possibilities to do so
B. Identifying major issues under this IOT
C. Dividing responsibilities among membership as needed
V. Protocol for calls writing up a short document to ensure effective time usage
